Tropen is a lightweight sleeping bag with an extremely small pack size and minimal weight. Its remarkable feature is its vapor permeability, which is very important for hot and humid tropical nights. The Shelltrans shell fits loosely over the inner structure and provides an additional layer of insulation without cold seams. This construction provides warmth for cool, foggy nights. In warmer weather, the lower part of the two-way zipper can be opened for ventilation. The hood is equipped with a mosquito net that can be folded out of the flap if necessary (the mosquito net is located at the front of the bag and is held behind the flap with snaps). The net can be easily attached around the hood with the help of a small, non-snagging zipper.
