ANV Knives M73 Kontos- Cerakote
The M73 Kontos includes all the main features of the M series knives. It has a full reed blade and a lightweight handle for perfect balance. Its blade is made of Swedish Sleipner steel coated with "Cerakote". The handle is 3D processed from Micarta. The M73 KONTOS is a clearly recognizable successor to its hexagonal base button made from the T72 track pin.
Interview with the authors of the knife:
"When designing the M73 knife, we tried to emphasize the well-known elements of the T72 tank. In the spine of the knife we see the straight top of the tank body. The front, fake edge represents the ax for us, i.e. the front of the tank. Finally, the actual blade copies the same curve as the body bath in the space below the tank driver," describe the creators of the knife, Sergeant Petr Stach and Staff Sergeant Petr Knot from the 73rd Tank Battalion.
