Maskpol ballistic helmet LHO-01

Professional, certified helmet designed for the civilian market. The LHO-01 model is made of modern ballistic materials. Designed to protect the head from direct hits of 9x19 mm FMJ bullets and fragments at a speed of 400 m/s < V50 < 500 m/s.

The helmet shell in the High-Cut standard is made of 100% high-quality European-produced aramids, i.e. high-strength fibers, which are also used in bulletproof vests and other personal protective equipment. Aramids combine penetration resistance with low dynamic deflection. In addition, they maintain ballistic protective properties in the temperature range from -40°C to +50°C and in contact with water, including sea water. The fibers are fire-resistant, do not melt. The helmets are manufactured using compression technology made of aramid fibers. The appropriate temperature and pressure used during this process ensure that the equipment maintains the required parameters.

The helmet has inserts inside to absorb impact energy. The complete set, which allows the helmet to be placed stably on the head, includes a neck pad and shock-absorbing pads. The BOA system located on the neck pad allows for smooth adjustment of the head circumference for a comfortable and safe wearing of the helmet.

Chin-up collars are a 4-point adjustable harness system.

Ballistic resistance:
- fragment resistance: V50 parameter above 400 m/s for FSP fragment 1.1 g,
- bullet resistance: 9x19 mm FMJ 8.0 g (360±15) m/s according to PN-V-87001:2011 standard.

The helmet is equipped with a mount for night vision devices such as goggles or monocles. Side mounting rails allow for the installation of additional equipment such as standard Weaver mounting rails, hearing protection or tactical lighting. The high cut of the helmet ensures compatibility with a wide range of hearing protection devices.
